Now I'll explain how to do number two.
First we need to multiply
3x3
The answer is 9, so write a 9 in the first box.
Now let's multiply the 3 times the other three (its in the tens place on top)
3 x 3 is 9, so write a 9 in the second box.

Now we need to hop over and multiply the 2, but before we multiply we need to hop down to the second row of boxes and write a zero in the first box.
ok
Now multiply the 2 times the 3 on top (in the ones place)
2x3 is 6
Write the 6 in the second box on the bottom.
Now multiply the 2 again times the 3 on top (this time the one in the tens place)
2x3 is 6
Write a 6 in the third box on the bottom.

Now that we are finished multiplying, we need to add the two numbers in the boxes.
99 plus 660

Our total answer is 759.
